I’ve made a list of crafts I want to make and this list gets rewritten over and over again in whatever notebook has replaced the previous one. Isn’t interesting how we come up with all sorts of ideas, are pressed for time so we keep a tally of the inspirations for when time is readily available…BUT, when we suddenly have some time we are distracted by the act of having time itself. Just me?

I’ve been meaning to upcycle clothes. Jazz up collared shirts and jeans. I’ve kept a pile of clothes I no longer use as potential canvas’. I’ve wanted to make an Albanian themed baby mobile for the last 5 years. I bought the actual structure (and lost all of its pieces in that time) however, only managed to make a needle punch felt sheep. It was a decent first attempt, it’s rather cute but not nearly as sturdy as I’d like him to be. I haven’t found the motivation to attempt needle punching again…I will…eventually.
